What is Gokul?

Gokul is believed to be the city where the beloved Krishna spent his childhood. It is the idyllic place where Krishna would steal butter and dance with the Gopikas. Gokul still exists in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is significant for us since our Gokul aims to be just as colorful as Krishna's life was at his Gokul.

We at Gokul Cafe are committed to preserving a culture, tradition and standard in culinary tastes. Keeping in mind the ancient  Indian cultural saying “Athithi Devo Bhava” (Guest is God) we put our guest ahead of us and thank you for patronizing our establishments. If you have any special needs, desires or requirements, we are just a phone call away. We will do our best that we can to please you.

All of our food is prepared fresh using quality ingredients as soon as your order it. Due to this process, our food takes longer than a fast food place yet tastes much better as well. We strive to create the best food possible to your liking. Want it milder? Want to make it vegan? Let us know! For us, honesty is the key in creating a good meal and we focus on authentic and true flavours. Our cuisine is naturally vegetarian and while many of the dishes are naturally vegan, 60% in fact, up to 85% of the food can be made vegan. Eating vegetarian has its benefits, including lower risk of developing heart disease, obesity, and even diabetes (brown.edu). Vegetarian food is also low calorie and and packed with nutrients, due to the ingredients such as lentils. But eating vegetarian doesn't mean you the food is bland, just come try us for once.
